On Saturday March 2, 2019 the Craft Association of the Hamilton Masonic Districts held their Annual District Deputy Grand Masters' Reception and Dance at the Michelangelo Banquet Centre.  The evening began with an introduction and welcome by V. W. Bro. Tim Corrin followed by the singing of the Royal Anthem and O Canada led by W. Bro. Bob Blundell. The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was W. Bro. Raymond Corrin who along with V. W. Bro Tim Corrin did the presentations and acknowledgements to the District Deputy Grand Masters later in the evening.   W. Bro. Bob Todd gave the Toast to Grand Lodge and the response was by R. W. Bro. Les Vass. The Junior Wardens's Toast was given by W. Bro. Jon Stewart who was also the photographer for the evening

This event was very well attended with representation from all the Lodges in the District. From what we were told there were over 120 who purchased tickets.  Trafalgar Lodge No. 712 was very well represented with over 40 members in attendance.  Buchanan Lodge No. 550 did hold up their end by being the last lodge to leave the Banquet which ended at 11:15 pm.

The venue for the event was very nice, the food was hot and plentiful and the staff were pleasant and very attentive.  Rob Kalmar of Ruby Entertainment was the DJ  and offered a nice mix of music for the evening.  All in all the Craft Association should be congartulated on  an excellent evening.
