During the month of October, two of the Murton Lodge of Perfection Officers and their spouses travelled to Honolulu Hawaii to celebrate their wedding anniversaries. Tom Marshall (Thrice Puissant Grand Master) and lady Bev, and Steve DeKruyf (Assistant Grand Expert) and lady Joyce were celebrating their 45th and 35th anniversaries respectively.  The island of Oahu offers many tourists attractions, but two in particular were on the top of the list for these travellers, The Shriner Hospital and Pearl Harbour.

Tom, a member of Rameses and Steve, a member of Mocha visited the Hospital, a sharp contrast to the multi-floor structures here in Canada and the mainland United States; however, working with the same common goal of helping kids.

The attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, although more US history focussed is one of those events that had a significant effect on world history.
