On August 9th, 2017 The Ancient St. John's Lodge No. 3 (Kingston) celebrated their 225th Anniversary.

225th Anniversary of The Ancient St. John's No. 3

On Friday, August 9th, W. Bro. Colin McLean W.M. and the brethren from The Ancient St. John's Lodge No. 3 held a wonderful banquet in honour of their 225th Anniversary as a Lodge. The guest of honour last night was M.W. Bro. David Cameron, Grand Master, in his first official function as Grand Master.

There were many other Grand Lodge Officers in attendance, some of which this being their first official visit as well. There were also approx. 180 brethren from across Ontario and Quebec who were also in attendance.

It was a fantastic evening and I would like to extend a warm congratulations to the Brethren of The Ancient St. John's Lodge No. 3 on their first 225 years, and here's looking forward to the next 225 years, which is pretty much just around the corner, if you think of those brethren way back when, holding Lodge in that tavern, so many years ago.

Tagging is most welcome and would be very much appreciated.

A note on the photos, the Lodge setup some display panels with historical information regarding the lodge, a complete display being one of the first in the set. I then took photos of each side of the display panels to help with making reading of the text, that much easier. I also neglected to turn off the date stamp in the camera, so some photos will contain some dating information.

Tomorrow I will upload photos from of the temple and some historical items the Lodge has in it's possession. Some very nice pieces. · Updated on Sunday · Taken at Renaissance Event VenueLast night W.
